I have a Dodge Coronet Royal project car that I am forcing myself to sell because I don't have the money or expertise to do the job right. This car has very little rust. The worst spot are the lower door skins on the front doors. Otherwise the trunk pan, floor pan, quater panels and fenders are very solid. This car came with the original 270 V8 and 2 speed Powerflite transmission. The Powerflite was the air cooled predecessor to the venerable Torqueflite. Unfortunantly the engine is not the Hemi (or Double Rocker, as they were known in those days), but the Poly head (or Single Rocker). Also, the engine is completely frozen. I tried to turn the crank with a wrench and the pistons won't budge an inch. The Powerflite looks to still be useable though.
I have the engine and transmission removed, because I was planning on doing a big block/Torqueflite conversion. All the glass is good on the car, except for the windshield. It will also probably need a new headliner, door panels, and package tray but the seats and floor carpeting are excellent was the last year that Chyrsler used a six volt electrical system. I put in a new six volt battery and the lights, blower motor and wipers all worked. I was planning on converting to twelve volt, but I don't have enough of an electrical background.
The price is negotiable, also I would be willing to trade for a running and driveable 60's through Dodge pickup (Ram, Dakota, D100, D150, Sweptline, long box, short box, stepside, whatever you've got I'm interested), 70's through 90's Jeep pickup (Commanche or J10), or mid 60's to Plymouth Fury or Imperial (I'll only consider Fury coupes, an Imperial coupe would be preferable, but if you've got a good more door Imp, I'd be interested). It doesn't have to be perfect obviously, but would like it to run, drive, stop and be safe to go down the road.
